Terms of Service
Effective Date: May 23, 2024
License and Use of the Application
Dawent licenses its software applications to users under a limited, non-exclusive, and non-transferable license. By using the application, you acknowledge that you are granted a right to use the software as outlined in the applicable End-User License Agreement (EULA) and do not own any portion of the software. Your license remains active as long as you maintain an active subscription. Upon expiration of your license, your access will be downgraded to a free version with limited features, as determined by Dawent, until a new license is obtained. Any unauthorized reproduction, modification, distribution, or reverse engineering of the application is strictly prohibited.
Data Protection and Security
Dawent takes reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy. While we implement industry-standard security practices, including encryption and access controls, no method of data transmission or storage is entirely secure. By using our services, you acknowledge that Dawent is not responsible for unauthorized access, data loss, or security breaches beyond our reasonable control.
For more details on how we handle personal information, please refer to our Privacy Policy.
License Subscription and Communications
To maintain access to the licensed application, users must ensure their license remains active. We send service-related communications, including notifications regarding system maintenance, billing, and other essential matters affecting the validity of your license. For licenses managed through a third-party payment processor, users will receive notifications regarding upcoming renewals, cancellations, or modifications. These communications are necessary for continued access to the application and cannot be opted out of unless the license is terminated.
Governing Terms and Liability
By using the application, you agree to the terms outlined in the End-User License Agreement (EULA), which governs warranties, disclaimers, and limitations of liability. The EULA establishes Dawent’s liability limitations, software use restrictions, and your rights as a licensee. For full details on liability and warranties, please refer to the EULA.
Business Transitions and Policy Updates
In the event of a business transition, such as a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your personal information may be among the transferred assets. Should such a transition occur, we will provide notice on our website regarding any changes in ownership or control of your data. We also reserve the right to update our Privacy Policy or Terms of Service to reflect changes in our licensing and operational practices. If material changes occur, a notice will be posted on our website before the changes take effect. We encourage you to periodically review these terms for the latest updates.
