Policy Scope Notice: This document applies exclusively to Dawent’s Google Workspace Apps and related services. It does not govern any other Dawent products or service lines. For legal terms applicable to other offerings, please refer to our Legal Overview.

License and Use of the Application

Dawent licenses its software applications to users under a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license. By using the application, you acknowledge that you are granted a right to use the software in accordance with the applicable End-User License Agreement (EULA) and do not gain ownership of any portion of the software.

Your license remains active as long as you maintain a valid subscription. Upon expiration or termination of your subscription, your access will automatically downgrade to a free version with limited functionality, as determined solely by Dawent, unless and until a new license is obtained.

You may not reproduce, modify, distribute, sublicense, publicly display, or reverse engineer the application or any of its components, except as expressly permitted by law or with prior written consent from Dawent.

Dawent licenses access to proprietary apps designed to extend or enhance Google Workspace. These apps serve as supplemental tools to Google’s core services and do not replace or replicate their core functionality. Dawent does not offer standalone service delivery but instead provides licensed access to tools that interoperate with Google Workspace, subject to Google’s platform permissions and policies.

Data Protection and Security

Dawent implements reasonable and appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data, in accordance with applicable data protection laws and our Privacy Policy. These measures include, but are not limited to, encryption, access controls, secure authentication, and internal data handling protocols.

However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is entirely secure. By using our licensed apps and related services, you acknowledge and accept that Dawent cannot guarantee absolute security and shall not be held liable for any unauthorized access, data loss, or security breaches that occur beyond our reasonable control.

License Subscription and Communications

To maintain uninterrupted access to Dawent’s licensed applications, users must keep their subscription active and in good standing. Dawent may send essential service-related communications, including but not limited to notices regarding system maintenance, license renewals, billing updates, account status, and changes to terms. For licenses managed through a payment processor, users will also receive automated notifications about renewals, cancellations, and payment confirmations, in accordance with the processor’s terms and services. 

These operational communications are necessary to ensure the continuity of your license and application access. As such, they are not subject to opt-out unless the associated license is canceled or terminated.

Governing Terms and Liability

By using the application, you agree to the terms outlined in the End-User License Agreement (EULA), which governs warranties, disclaimers, and limitations of liability. The EULA establishes Dawent’s liability limitations, software use restrictions, and your rights as a licensee. For full details on liability and warranties, please refer to the EULA.

Business Transitions and Policy Updates

In the event of a business transition, such as a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your personal information may be among the transferred assets. Should such a transition occur, we will provide notice on our website regarding any changes in ownership or control of your data. We also reserve the right to update our Privacy Policy or Terms of Service to reflect changes in our licensing and operational practices. If material changes occur, a notice will be posted on our website before the changes take effect. We encourage you to periodically review these terms for the latest updates.
